Jason is a Canadian born American actor and has recently got his American citizenship in July, 2007, several weeks in advance. The actor got his very first break in show biz as lead role Brandon Walsh in Beverly Hills in 1990. He has a twin sister Justine Priestley and two step siblings Karin and Kristi.
He tried hard to get Justine for the Brenda’s role, but she couldn’t pass through the auditions. Although, she is an actress now.
In Beverly Hills, Brandon has a wonderful love life with several love affairs. He dates a married University professor even. Ultimately he decides to marry one of his girl friends Kelly with whom he had a break up once but after realizing his true feelings for her, they reunite in the eighth season in Hawai.
In the beginning of ninth season he stopped acting but he remained executive producer till the end of series. In the show he is still recovering from the aborted wedding with Kelly, and is the last Walsh to leave the Beverly Hills for a job in Washington Dc.
In his personal life too, Jason had two weddings. First with his make-up artist from this show, Ashlee Petersen in 1999 and after divorcing her in 2000, he married another make-up artist, Naomi Lowde in 2005. He became father of a baby girl in July 2007. He also lived with actress Christine Elise, between 1992-1997.
Jason is just mad for car racing, he has raced a lot as well as did commentary. Besides this he promoted Barenaked Ladies, Band and it was also invited to play in an episode ‘Peach Pit after Dark’. Check out.
